About Color Profile (ICC Profile)



Downloaded file contains two color profiles (ICC Profile) for each models. Each profile is generated for use of monitor under the adjustment described below. Select the profile to match the adjusted monitor.

(1) Monitor is adjusted to 6500 K & Gamma=2.2

Color Profile: L***D65.icm
Monitor Adjustments: FineContrast Mode----- Custom
Color Temperature------ 6500K
Gamma--------------------- 2.2

(2) Monitor is adjusted to 5000 K & Gamma=1.8

Color Profile: L***D50.icm
Monitor Adjustments: FineContrast Mode----- Custom
Color Temperature------ 5000K
Gamma--------------------- 1.8

NOTE
*
L*** indicates the model name of monitor.


* What is the ICC Profile?

A specific file including the color characteristic information for the device, settled by ICC (International Color Consortium)

Settings
  1. Download "Monitor Information File" and copy the extracted files into the hard disk drive or the floppy disk.
  2. Click "Start" and select "Control Panel".
  3. Click "Appearance and Themes" and click "Display" icon.
  4. Select "Settings" tab and click "Advanced...".
  5. Select "Color Management" tab and click "Add...".
  6. "Add Profile Association" window is displayed and specify the directory of the extracted files then click "Add".
  7. Select a suitable Color Profile from the list then click "Add".
  8. Select a Color Profile from the list in the "Color profiles currently associated with this device:" and click "Set As Default".
  9. Click "Apply" and click "OK" to close a menu.
